I was finally able to run the demo without crashing and I'm so glad. It's fantastic! It looks like the full game is going to expand on this snippet in wonderful ways and I can't wait. I'm a sucker for visually adept storytelling and the game has a quirky, appealing movement to it. True pacing and arcs and that's tricky to pull off when the presentation is so abstract.
I don't want to repeat everything I said in the video, so I'll just say I think you notably achieved whatever you set out to accomplish here in terms of player experience and in the translation of the stories that inspired it. It's just plain fun and it's just plain good and I wish you all the best of luck with the release!
I played the demo via Steam, still patiently waiting for the full game! Can't wait!
I love the art-style of the game, it looks so beautiful and i also like the music of the game! can't wait for the full game.
I feel so chill after playing this game.
Cool game daddio! I really do feel that this game accurately portrays the complexities of Jazz in a strange way! Looking forward to seeing more!
When I launch the game I get a constant green flickering overlay. I'm running Windows 10 with 64 bit system architecture and a fairly powerful graphics card.
Hmm, strange! Can you run dxdiag.exe and email the output to firstname.lastname@example.org?
I had the same issue, but worked out a solution.
1. It's got something to do with Nvidia's colour settings.
Right click on your desktop and go into Nvidia control panel
2. In the display/change resolution section, scroll down to "3. Apply the following settings"
3. Set "Use Nvidia colour settings". That should be all you need, assuming your problem is the same as mine.
That should be all you need to do. I have the same issue with PUBG, which might be a useful reference for devs trying to fix this.
Tried ro record this but it crashes at the end where the two musicians are sitting together in the centre and a train goes around them. It crashed and my gameplay got corrupted. You might wanna look into that. I was using Action! recorder. Btw, the game is a masterpiece, well done.
Made a video
This is lovely. From the visual style to the music to the cute interactions with the world. Bring on the full release. :)
This game looks fantastic.
The visuals of this look amazing!
